Is a new day dawning for humanity?

There was something about yesterday’s ‘great conjunction’. And, even if here in the UK we couldn’t see much of it at the time of the event itself (when Saturn and Jupiter perfectly aligned with our planet and started a journey together in the skies), it held a deep energetic significance to me.

What it created in the sky is being referred to in the media as ‘the Christmas star’, because the same planetary configuration was said to have announced the birth of Christ 2000 or so years ago. And though I’m always open to stories like these being metaphor rather than uncontestable fact, it feels very much to my intuitive sensing (something that I have over the years come to rely on) that it heralds the birth of something new. But this time, rather than the birth of Christ, it feels to me like it points to the birthing of the Christ consciousness on the planet – what we might see as the christed being within all of us! And that feels hugely significant to me.

Some are calling this event the true birth of ‘the Aquarian Age’. And for me, this feels to be true. And, as if to support this intuition, when I was guided to a favourite spot of the Somerset countryside yesterday to ‘anchor’ the energies (I was drawn to the same magical spot three times over the course of the day, despite the volatile weather), I kept seeing vans for ‘the water board’ driving past me, and when I ‘checked inside’ what the relevance of this was, it was then that I ‘got’ the Aquarian age connection (Aquarius, of course, being the water bearer)!

And, though I have not been one to place so much significance on planetary bodies in the sky in the past, this ‘Star of Bethlehem’ configuration feels of huge significance for me. It feels like it has the capability to birth in each of us that spark, that ‘Christ light’, if you will (and I’m not aligning myself to any particular religion here - we all have a light within). And that no amount of ‘locking down’ can quell that light, because that flame is kindled from within. And guess what? We can still catch light from each other, however ‘locked down’ we are. And in fact, many of us are doing just that - and it’s like the light of candles being passed around the world!

And, of course, I say this not denying the huge amount of pain and suffering on the planet at this time. In fact, at one level it may look like humanity is facing its very darkest hour. But if we look deeper, under the surface, there's a different scene unfolding.

And it seems to me that there are two perspectives playing themselves out here. The reality of ‘the rona’ (though the truth of the situation is never precisely what’s being painted of course), the worldwide lockdowns and all manner of difficult things that have transpired on an individual and collective level as a result is one. And the perspective of the increasing numbers of us who are awakening to our sense of our own divinity, feeling the possibility of new beginnings and actually using the challenging times as a catalyst for our own awakening and spiralling up to greater and great levels of sovereignty and freedom. Wow, what an amazing time! Although it may not seem that way on the surface, it’s a time of choices and great potential. And great possibility to dig deeper and find gold.
