DAY 9: COUNTDOWN TO THE21-DAY 'CONSCIOUS CLEANSE'Now's the time to fill your cupboards with tasty, nutritious foods that are allowed on the detox diet - that's grains like brown rice (try to avoid the white variety on this programme), rye, quinoa, millet, buckwheat; non-wheat breads like rye and pumpernickel; crispbreads including rice cakes and oatcakes.Nuts & seeds are good take-everywhere-you-go-to-munch foods while on the diet (brazil nuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower & pumpkin seeds are best). Stock up too on non-dairy milks like rice and almond milk (you can keep this in the larder until opened when you can transfer to fridge). Coconut milk is a particularly delicious variety - and it totally transforms the taste of your morning porridge, if you have it (try it)! And plentiful supplies of good quality fresh fruits and vegetables for juicing and munching will ensure that you maintain an abundant sense of 'zing' throughout the programme. For a more in-depth shopping list click here.Tomorrow: we take out our first 'food' – artificial additives
